The research and teaching of the GITH emphasizes on Regional Studies, Social and Cultural History, Paleo-History, and Economic History of Taiwan, etc. It&#8217;s hoped that these areas would cultivate students&#8217; understanding of the dynamic and multidimensional development of Taiwan history.
